REV. JOHN REVELL, DIRECTOR SPIRITUAL ADVISOR

Rev. John Revell is Director and Spiritual Advisor to Family Peace Center, Inc. (“FPC”).  In this capacity, he assists the Board of Directors in establishing sound Christian principles within the governing policies of FPC.

For almost four decades, John has served in church ministry in cities as diverse as Miami, Denver, Ft. Lauderdale, Nashville and Wantagh/Long Island. Most recently, he pastored Stamford Baptist Church from September 2011, to December 2015, where he oversaw the ministry of teaching and preaching, community outreach, discipleship, and programs such as the AWANA Club for children and youth.

Following the 2012 Sandy Hook/Newtown shootings, John has focused heavily on his ministry to first responders, as chaplain of the Stamford Police Department since February 2012, and as Founder and President of Life Line Chaplaincy, a non-profit organization providing spiritual care for first responders coping with personal crises and trauma. John earned his Bachelor’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Trinity International University in Miami, FL, and his Master of Divinity from Denver Seminary. He is certified in critical incident response through the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation.

John and his wife Debbie have two incredible sons with equally incredible (and beautiful) wives who have given John and Debbie three extraordinary (and beautiful) granddaughters.
